When you have a pet, you get it. You get that pets are simply part of the family and need to have health insurance just the same as we do (learn more about pet insurance here). They’re real, loving, messy beings that you take care of until you can’t help but treasure them. You forget about the messes and the walks in the snow and rain, and you just do it because they are part of the family. We call them fur-babies for a reason – they take just as much love and care.

They give back all the love they receive. Sometimes they’re the only ones who comfort you when you’re down, and they’re the first ones to say hello when you walk in the door. When it comes to our canine friends, we only want the best for them, but some people make the mistake of not researching the best food for them. We can all be guilty of buying what’s easiest or on offer at the store. A friend has recently switched her dogs to raw dog food and has reported that their fur is shinier than when they were on commercial food. I urge you to do your research into the best for your pups.
