My best mommy tip is to have patience and most importantly…have fun with the kids. It makes everyone’s life so much easier and happier.

My favorites are:
The Allergy Alert labels- great for my food allergic son
The starter pack
Iron on labels

I retweeted & follow on Facebook! My best Mommy Tip is that you will always second guess yourself but go with your gut (especially when your in-laws tell you to keep your child awake later so he will sleep in – never works)!

Whoops here’s my Twitter ID @jyetman

Try to give your child as much undivided positive attention as you can (sometimes it’s hard!) They crave attention and would rather have you yelling at them then not having your attention at all!

I love the zip it tags, the pantry labels, and the iron-on clothing labels!

Listen to your child!! I have learned my 18 month old knows far more than I give her credit for. For instance, if she tells me she isn’t hungry, she is not going to eat, no matter what I give her :) And- if she tells me she doesn’t want to wear something, don’t put it on her, because she’ll keep asking for whatever she wanted to wear all day!

I am a Facebook fan- Desiree Glaze

I like the butterfly fun stickies, the star bag tag, and the think pink labels

When making Rice Krispies, pour the mixture into a cake pan lined with parchment paper. Spray your spatula with Pam to keep it from sticking as you flatten it out in the pan.
THEN..when it’s cool, pull up with the paper and set on counter. Cut into squares with pizza cutter, then put paper & squares back in pan for serving!
Ok that’s like 5 tips teehee!

to help remember when her pictures were taken, i make address labels with my daughter’s stats (name, age, weight, date) and apply to the back of the picture. this way family, friends, and us can easily remember when the picture was taken. it has been so helpful and appreciated by all who got pictures of her. you do not have to worry about the ink rubbing off, smearing, or leaking onto the photo.

i also put the labels on the pictures that we frame so i always remember when the picture was taken. this will come in handy now that we just added our son to our family!

Thanks for all the great tips so far! Keep them coming!!

I love to cook so I have two handy tips that I’d like to share:

1. When cutting raw chicken I use a plastic place mat (that is only used for this purpose) because it makes it very easy to wash and sanitize as opposed to a wood cutting board where the juices can seep in.

2. To dispose of leftover oils after frying I use a clean empty margarine container to pour it into – when it’s full I throw it out. Never pour oil into your sink as it will cause your pipes to clog over time.

I hope you liked these tips and will try them out! I have a lot more where that came from! :-)

PS: I am a big fan of Lovable Labels – I hope I win!!! Love you guys!

Best Mommy Tip: Don’t go to bed unless the kitchen sink and countertops are clean. It will make for a very frustrating morning if not!

This tip actually came from my mother-in-law. We line the top of the kitchen cupboards with wax paper. This makes spring cleaning a lot easier; you simply throw out the wax paper, wipe and put down a new piece of wax paper.
Hope this comes in handy for some of you!!

Thank you for all the wonderful tips! My tip is to make sure you prepare all lunches (including your own) as well as pick out each child’s outfit the night before. It makes for a much smoother morning especially when time is of the essence.

Lead by Example.

When my then three year old wouldn’t stop lying–I spent the day taking him on adventures he’d dreamed of doing–the zoo, ice cream, the water park. As we got to the counter to purchase the tickets I’d say, “We’re not doing this?” His heart broken he’d cry, “But you said.” Which was the perfect opening to, “I know I did. But I lied.” It was appropriate and gave him pause for thought. At the end of the journey he said, “I don’t like when you lie.” and we were able to discuss the effects of lying. He never lied to me again.

My best Mommy tip is don’t sweat the small stuff! If you child insists on wearing her rubber boots on a sunny, warm day, let her do it!

My best tip – always have snacks and toys on hand when running errands.

My tip is in the laundry room: I have 6 kids, so laundry is huge in our home! I have 3 of those 3-section laundry bins in my laundry room. As I take stuff out of the dryer, I sort into the bags (labeled with each person’s name + 1 for linen). It makes it a lot easier to bring each bag into the right room and put it away!

I am a FB fan!

LOVE the new metal tags, zipper pulls and my old fav – slimline labels!

Mommy Tips for staying organized – Finding time to spend with your children, household duties, still make meals on time and get a supper out to the field for your husband who is harvesting, takes organization.

I like to make lists of things that need to be done by charting out my week ahead of time and having the small things done far in advance, whether it me making meals and freezing them, grocery shopping, laying out clothes for the next day, packing back packs for school the following day etc. Knowing what needs to be done prior to the time coming makes it a lot easier for me to stay organized so I can still sit down and play a game of cards with my son (which is much more relaxing than doing laundry).

My best mommy tip: To live each day like it is your last! Love your spouse, children, family and friends like you may never see them again! Let them all know how much you love and care for them!

I am a new FB fan!!!

My favourite tip…no matter what age your child or wherever you are going bring food & toys for your child & 1 more! You never know! (& make dure you have your containers & toys labelled!)

Great other tips! I am a fan on facebook.
