Wedding Bliss: Part 1

Part1: Who am I and what I will be embarking upon over the next year…

For all of you who don’t know me my name is Deep and I’m the Customer Service Representative with Lovable Labels Inc. This is a very exciting time in my life because one year from now I will be married! I will share intimate, humorous, and candid moments with all of you about how it all began and my wedding planning adventure. If I can make another person smile, burst into laughter or assist in any way, I think it’s definitely worthwhile sharing my experiences. A few of my girlfriends are also getting married between this year and next, so I guess you could say that it’s that “TIME” in our lives that we are going through.

Deep’s Tips: I don’t think there is a right or a wrong time to get married. I believe when it feels right you just know and it’s time to take that leap of faith.

Stay tuned for all exciting posts to come and for all of you who are getting married, we would love to hear how your adventure is going as well! Also, if you have already taken the leap into married life, tell us your love story! How did you meet? What made it so special?

Congrats! Planning the wedding is so much fun so don’t believe it’s only a headache lol! Once it’s over you won’t know what to do with your spare time anymore!

Firstly, congrats to you Deep!

I met my hubby back in 97′, when we were still in secondary schools, different states. We were penpal then. Yup, the good ol’ writing letters and mail it out via the good ol’ postman method!

Started dating in 98′ and got married in 07′ and had our 1st child in 09′ and now expecting 2nd one in Sept this year.

What’s so special? He’s the first and only boyfriend I have. And the fact we met as penpal first. We both still kept those letters, maybe one day when we are old and gray, we might read it to our grand/great grand kids.. :P

Hi Jennifer,

Thank so much for the advice. I am really loving it, all the little details too!

Hi Jenny,

Thank you. That’s sooo cute. Your love story is amazing! Pen pals what are the chances. Thank you for sharing your Love Story with us!

Hey

I truly love all your advice and help. It makes me feel like I’m not going insane. It’s funny because we are going the exact samething since we are getting married a month apart. I’ve been with my finacee for 11 years now. Since I was 16 years old.

All this wedding planning is so exciting. I don’t want it to end….

Congrats! What an exciting time for you! My husband and I met online through Yahoo personals. I was sick of the typical dating scene and wanted to find something “real” When I came across Noah’s profile, I knew immediately by his sense of humor, he was the one for me. It was quite a detailed and lengthy profile explaining exactly what he wanted, who he was, and who he was not. For example, he stated that the “girl who he was looking for must love animals–well, my name is Noah”. I was nervous about writing to his profile, and my mom just did it and pushed send before I could even blink. In her haste she made some crazy errors replying to his question of what makes your life funny. She had wrote my hole is funny. Instead of “whole life”. He responded, “well, I don’t know exactly how to respond to that answer” and it has been nothing but laughs since. We had our first date at a local restaurant and every year for our anniversary we return to the same table. I am so fortunate to have met him and am thankful everyday for what he does for our family! I am deeply and hopelessly in love, and I wish the same happiness for you!

My husband and I met on August 17th, 2005, we were married on April 20th 2006, We had our first son on July 28th, 2006. I guess you can say we had a pretty exciting year. We would nto change it for anything. i was just that she girl, who didnt know what to say, he was this shy guy, who had respect for women.

I even remember that first date. Well, not all of it because its been almost 6 years, but I remember the ending of the first date. He was bring me home, and as I was about to get out of the car, he leanedover and kissed me on the cheek, and you could tell he was shy about doing that. It was so adorable, and it made me realize that not all men are scumbags (excuse my language) and that he was different. That is when i knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him <3 we celebrated our 5th wedding anaversiary this year :)

Congrats! Planning a wedding is hard work. I have helped several of my friends put theirs together and have even sketched out gown designs of what they wanted. I am no seamstress, but with the sketches they were able to find what they wanted. I loved helping them pick things out and being there for them. Having a great support system I think made it a little bit easier for them ~ not as stressful when you have a team of people backing you and helping out in any way possible. I wish you much luck and happiness in your endeavor.
